Write an article
If you are a budding author, we'd love to hear from you. We are always looking for interesting articles on all aspects of local history, no matter where you live in the UK. We actively encourage new writers and researchers so why not give it a go? If you have an idea for an article to be included in the magazine email us at admin@localhistorymag.com. If you are thinking of contributing you may wish to download our notes for authors below (requires Acrobat Reader).

Tell us what you are up to
In each issue of Local History we carry a comprehensive events calendar. If you are organising a local history event we would love to hear about it! Please contact us well in advance so that we can include your listings.

Send us a copy of your book or DVD
If you've got a new or recent local history related publication please send us a copy, we will list your book or periodical in the next available issue, we also try to review as many books as possible per issue. We are also planning to expand our reviews section to include local history related DVDs, so if you have something that you think we may be interested in, drop us a line.

Read any good book lately?
With an extensive book and periodical reviews section we are always interested in book reviewers, so if you would like to be added to our list of reviewers please contact us.
